Chairs, Spaces and Encounters

Chairs rarely exist in isolation; they shape and are shaped by the spaces they inhabit. A chair in a café, in a parliament, or in a classroom does not mean the same thing, it mediates how we gather, act, and or belong. 
Building on this premise, one might explore how the simplest of objects arranges the most complex of encounters, how chairs, by their quiet presence, script the ways we gather, speak, or fall into silence.

Bezhë has been awarded with the Big See Product Design Award 2025, for the TAS Lamp. The TAS Lamp is a high-end, eco-conscious lighting piece, thoughtfully crafted in Albania. Its base is made from upcycled concrete or natural stone, repurposed from geotechnical borehole drilling waste collected across construction sites nationwide. The wooden shade is delicately handcrafted by local artisans, adding warmth and character to every piece.

A week-long Eco festival and a movement that aims to redefine how we think about design, innovation, and sustainability.

By bringing together regional and international voices in design, architecture, fashion, anthropology, and social entrepreneurship, the festival creates a space for dialogue where ideas become actions, and actions inspire change.
